That’s me!

My role as a mental health professional at Great Lakes Psychology Group is to provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in need. My goal is to empower families and individuals through psychoeducation, supporting behavioral health, enhancing communication effectiveness, and managing emotional reactivity within a professional therapeutic environment. I continually strive to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns during their time in counseling.

I assist clients in identifying their personal, relational, and vocational goals as well as steps on how to work toward achieving those goals. To help my clients reach their therapy goals, I can also assist clients in identifying potential community resources, spiritual communities, and social supports that can be utilized to enhance mental health and overall functioning.

I specialize in providing counseling services for adults with ADHD, supporting parents with ADHD, support for parents with ADHD kiddos, ADHD assessment and management, stress management, family therapy, LGBTQIA+ support, mood disorders, and behavioral health consultation. I am a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator for pre-marital and marital counseling.

More about me:

Outside my life as a counselor, I am a nature enthusiast, sci-fi/fantasy lover, and enjoy spending my free time in libraries.

As a proud owner of a neurodiverse (ADHD) brain, I’m a creative outside-the-box problem solver. I’m passionate about helping other neurodiverse individuals understand more about their ADHD brain and how it influences cognition, perception, emotional regulation, and interactional style within relationships. With a better understanding of how a neurodiverse brain functions, clients learn how best to manage their own symptoms and utilize their unique strengths.

“We like to say that ‘treating’ ADHD means unwrapping your gifts by using strategies that work for you.” — Ned Hallowell, M.D., and John Ratey, M.D.
